- For
- People editing office files on Windows, macOS, or Linux
- Worth noticing
- It lists support for .docx, .xlsx, .xlsm, .xls, .csv, and .pptx alongside PDF, Markdown, and HTML editors.
Field notes
The suite separates its AI options into FaamOffice Cloud, a user-supplied provider API key, and local models, naming Ollama, LM Studio, and llama.cpp for the last option. The page says routine editing stays on the user's computer, while cloud processing sends content through FaamOffice's server. It lists compatibility with several older and current spreadsheet formats, including .xlsm and .csv.
