An Android SMS app that sorts unknown numbers into silent Spam and lets approved contacts reach an alerting Primary inbox.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-09 issue.

For: Android users filtering unknown texts
Worth noticing: Existing messages import when TextMoat becomes the default SMS app; verification codes can be copied from notifications.

Field notes

The page presents TextMoat as a replacement default SMS app, with existing messages imported when it takes over. Its inbox includes notification-shade replies, conversation search, picture and group messaging, and rules for blocking numbers or keywords; login codes get a copy action. The site says classification and storage happen on-device, and that it runs without ads or an analytics network.
