Editorial interest 74/100 Selection signal · not a rating of the site

Caravan Quest proposes a scavenger hunt linking handmade camel sculptures with heritage and nature sites across the Emirates.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-09 issue.

For: Families and young people exploring the UAE
Worth noticing: Its proposed route lists heritage and nature stops across seven emirates, with candidate locations explicitly subject to approvals.

Field notes

The proposed hunt combines place-finding with a short learning prompt: locating a camel earns points, and answering a question about the site earns more. The page distinguishes physical sculptures from camels concealed in objects or optical illusions and digital ones found in AR. It also describes a no-concrete helical anchoring approach, though installations are not yet in place.
