Fungologia’s map for Polish mushroom foragers
A Polish-language mushroom atlas and foraging app combining species information, sighting maps, group outings, and a regional community.
- For
- Polish mushroom foragers and people seeking group outings
- Worth noticing
- The homepage lists 105 atlas species and says sighting submissions are confirmed by a human expert.
Field notes
The homepage lays out a loop from browsing species and predicted locations to submitting a photo-and-location sighting, then collecting confirmed species in a personal Grzybioteka. Outing tools are described with named route stages, group chat, and live location; the site also offers regional forums and an opt-in way to find company. The page says an account unlocks these participation features and explicitly cautions against using its information to decide whether to eat a mushroom.
