查明白 Gotcha: New Zealand groceries, in Chinese
An iPhone app for scanning New Zealand supermarket products and reading their ingredients, nutrition, and allergen information in Chinese.
- For
- Chinese-speaking grocery shoppers in New Zealand
- Worth noticing
- The page says its personalized assessment stays on the iPhone, with the health profile excluded from iCloud backups.
Field notes
For its personalized assessment, the page says the health profile is stored in the iPhone keychain, marked device-only, and excluded from iCloud backups; the server supplies product information without receiving the profile. Unlisted products can be added through three photos, and the page offers one membership day after review. Its score is described as drawing on the public Australia–New Zealand Health Star Rating method, with separate explanations for additives and processing.
