- For
- Homeowners planning a ductless mini-split installation
- Worth noticing
- The sample sizing gives heating need 9.4 k and cooling need 6.1 k for a 320-square-foot room.
Field notes
The sizing example includes room area, insulation, draftiness, and location, and says cold winters—not summer heat—set the sample system size. Ducto describes three labor arrangements, from a homeowner mounting a pre-charged system to a licensed installer handling the full job. It says installers are paid in stages after the homeowner approves submitted photos and test readings.
