- For
- WeChat users preserving their Moments archive
- Worth noticing
- The full-archive workflow requires an Apple Silicon Mac with macOS 26 or later; the site says it logs in through the official WeChat client.
Field notes
The site presents two archive-import paths: a WeChat personal-information export for the free tier, or a Mac-based reader for a fuller history. It says the reader uses the official WeChat client inside a sealed virtual machine, retries failed downloads, and clears the login cache afterward. The archive is described as open-format JSON plus original media files; the site also says a change of computer does not invalidate the account-based authorization.
