Field notes
A client writes the session's decision line automatically through a Stop hook; the example says nobody typed the line or ran a separate save command. When a note is renamed without changing its contents, an identity pass can bind its hash to the new path. The page also names a boundary: an edit made in place at the same path is not detected today.
