- For
- Readers of scam parody and retro-web humor
- Worth noticing
- Its mock news log dates updates to October 1997, including the moment the site claims to have discovered the blink tag.
Field notes
The page lays out its joke as a sequence of familiar internet traps: a millionth-visitor prize, urgent security warnings, dubious downloads, and a guestbook. A mock update log tracks three October 1997 milestones, while the guestbook section says signatures are public and the latest 50 appear. The extract does not confirm that the downloads or submission controls work.
