- Filmmakers staging phone scenes
- Worth noticing
- The clock can be frozen between takes, and the display can switch to a marked tracking pattern for VFX work.
Field notes
On an iPhone running iOS 17 or later, the actor can type and send scripted conversations, while a reset restores the configured script between takes. The app can freeze the clock, play a ringtone despite silent mode, and replace the display with a colored tracking pattern and markers for post-production. It works without a SIM or network connection; the page says a one-time payment removes the trial watermark.
