Adamfo makes a missed check-in a reason to call
A project in development proposes a daily check-in for people living with psychosis, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or severe depression, alerting a user-chosen support circle when check-ins stop.
- For
- People living with psychosis, bipolar disorder, or severe depression
- Worth noticing
- Its example alerts three trusted friends roughly six hours after a missed check-in and includes the location from the last check-in.
Field notes
The proposed setup lets a person select trusted contacts by name, phone number, and email; each contact is asked to consent before joining the circle. Daily check-ins may be a puzzle, a progress note, or a single tap, with a reminder before the page's example sends an alert roughly six hours after the scheduled time. A worked scenario also shows the last check-in location accompanying the alert; the service is marked in development, not yet live.
