- For
- Hunters using satellite texting in the field
- Worth noticing
- Forecasts are U.S.-only and sourced from the National Weather Service; the service says it does not answer regulation or avalanche-safety questions.
Field notes
The page lays out commands for saved locations, setup checks and help, and tells testers to send TEST while they have service before trying the flow on a trip. Its sample forecast includes overnight lows, precipitation chances and wind; hourly wind covers the next 12 hours. Forecast coverage is limited to the U.S., and the page directs users elsewhere for regulations and avalanche safety.
