- For
- People estimating flooring for rooms with cuts or complex layouts
- Worth noticing
- It distinguishes typical UK room sizes from measurements of the actual home and says they are only a first figure.
Field notes
Room details can be entered by measurement, known area, counting what is already down, or choosing a typical two- or three-bedroom flat. The page says those UK presets are only a first figure and should be changed or checked against a taped room. For installation estimates, users can enter their own material and fitting rates; the page defines a fitter’s day as 7.5 hours and says the result is not a quote.
