LostPages: a missing-page audit for Shopify stores
LostPages compares a Shopify store’s current pages with archived URLs, links the store still publishes, and pages search engines still list, then checks whether missing pages return an error or redirect.
- For
- Shopify store owners checking for missing pages
- Worth noticing
- Audits check up to 120 pages; anything beyond that is listed as “not checked.”
Field notes
The audit builds its URL set from the current sitemap and public collection list, then adds addresses found in web archives, store-published links, and search listings. It tests missing URLs for not-found responses and homepage redirects, but the page cautions that archives are incomplete and excludes menus, drafts, and login-protected content. For large catalogs, only 120 pages are tested; the rest are marked “not checked.”
