Field notes
Work began under a 2004 Save Our History grant focused on northeast Baltimore neighborhoods; a later Annie E. Casey Foundation grant supported the civil-rights research. Students drew on newspaper files at the Maryland Historical Society, Enoch Pratt Free Library materials, published histories, and oral histories, and interviewed Baltimore CORE figures, a Black Panther member, a newspaper editor, and others. The timeline spans 1892–2007.
