Sunlatch puts a latch between habits and scrolling

Editorial interest 74/100 Selection signal · not a rating of the site

A planned Android launcher puts small essentials first and holds fun apps behind rules tied to habits and due times.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-12 issue.

For: Android users trying to curb app habits
Worth noticing: Removing a rule waits 24 hours, but switching back to the previous home screen is never delayed.

Field notes

The described launcher gates selected apps around small essentials, due times, and habits; extra habits can bank minutes for breaks. The page says notification taps still open apps normally, with that time deducted afterward, and double if a gate was closed. It also describes an uneven but explicit rule-change policy: tightening can start immediately, while loosening waits a day.
