SyncroBeat, a metronome for bands
A browser-based collaborative metronome designed to give a band the same beat across its members’ devices, with individual latency adjustments.
- For
- Bands rehearsing across separate phones or audio setups
- Worth noticing
- Each musician gets a personal latency adjustment from −150 to +350 ms, locked by default once tuned.
Field notes
A rehearsal room is created with a code, name, and instrument; other players join through a shared link. Each person adjusts their own delay while the metronome runs, over a stated range of −150 to +350 ms, and can lock the setting against accidental changes. The embedded demo shows tempo, count-in, and accent controls visually, but explicitly does not play audio or connect devices. The page says the first room entry can take up to a minute while its server wakes.
