A native Rust desktop player for YouTube Music on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-12 issue.

For: Listeners wanting a lightweight desktop YouTube Music player
Worth noticing: For tracks longer than about eight minutes, it says playback uses a sliding 8 MB memory window rather than loading the whole file.

Field notes

Downloads are linked for Windows, macOS, and Linux, with Windows instructions covering both Scoop and a manual ZIP install. The page says audio is fetched progressively and decoded on a separate thread; for tracks longer than about eight minutes, it keeps a sliding 8 MB window in memory. Search, queue history, undo, lyrics lookup, media keys, Discord status, and optional sign-in for a personal feed are also described.
