- For
- Property managers, custodians, and people tracking many keys
- Worth noticing
- The page describes scanning a whole ring or pile to highlight a selected key, alongside tracking copies and checkouts.
Field notes
The proposed inventory accommodates user-defined hierarchies, from properties and buildings down to rooms, rather than requiring one fixed filing scheme. The page also distinguishes a master key that opens several doors from multiple copies of one key. Its privacy section says fingerprints, photos, and tags would stay encrypted on the phone by default; encrypted backup and team sharing are described as planned options.
