Keep the Library Near Our Kids
A resident-run Beachwood campaign opposing a proposed library relocation and asking for impact studies and a public hearing.
- For
- Beachwood residents and library users
- Worth noticing
- The page links council agendas, school and library materials, local reporting, and a Sept. 22 council presentation.
Field notes
Its comparison places the current branch beside Beachwood Middle School and contrasts that walk with the proposed Fairmount and Shakercrest site. The campaign cites 407 parking spaces, a proposed 300-seat auditorium, a long-term school-district land lease, and a targeted November 2026 groundbreaking; these are presented as project figures and plans, not independently verified here. Visitors can copy email text or consult linked council agendas, public materials, and local reporting.
