PdfCraft keeps PDF editing on your machine
An open-source PDF workbench that runs in a browser, with tools for organizing, merging, splitting, filling, signing, and commenting on documents.
- For
- People editing sensitive PDFs in a browser
- Worth noticing
- Its page organizer supports multi-select, undo, inserting pages from another file, and retaining nested bookmarks during merges.
Field notes
The editor’s page organizer supports multi-select, rotation, deletion, duplication, blank-page insertion, and undo before saving; merging can retain each file’s bookmarks in nested form. Form filling and signatures, threaded comments, layers, password protection, and redaction are also listed. A separate Chat with PDF panel can use keys for OpenAI, Gemini, or OpenRouter, or Craft Apps credits; the site says requests made with a personal key go directly from the browser to the provider.
