Field notes
The directory lets visitors narrow California options by region and practical needs, including whether a lesson is women-only, free or supplies gear. Listings include organizer-level details: one free San Francisco class names the casts beginners practice and includes lunch, while a three-day women’s school lists separate double- and single-occupancy prices. The site says it checks listings against organizers’ websites; its First-Timer Friendly badge is described as a standard tied to women’s firsthand recommendations.
