Field notes
The implementation uses a small hand-written stand-in for the Windows features the games rely on, connecting the canvas, Web Audio, and browser storage. The author says Windows calls are regularly compared with the untouched original under an emulator. The page also describes two specific fixes while otherwise leaving the original game logic and its quirks intact.
