jonesborola.com Visit website

Editorial interest 84/100 Selection signal · not a rating of the site

A small-town government website parody built from mock alerts, utility-payment links, civic notices, and local-office details.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-15 issue.

For: Readers of small-town government satire
Worth noticing: Its mock alert system promises 6–9 boil advisories per week, while unsubscribing requires an in-person, notarized Form 12-U.

Field notes

The homepage borrows the familiar machinery of a municipal portal: alerts, utility payments, resident links, event listings, and a problem-reporting form. Its mock subscription promises “6–9 boil advisories per week,” while the unsubscribe route invokes an in-person, notarized form. The page explicitly disclaims affiliation and points readers to jonesborola.net for actual town business.
