Field notes
The map can be rotated by dragging and zoomed with the scroll wheel; clicking an ingredient opens an exploration pane, and Ctrl+click compares ingredients or dishes. Its settings let users reduce background-map density while keeping selected items visible, and optionally draw cuisine names and country paintings. The interface also offers watercolor food illustrations, though they are off by default.
