The sample schema supports fixed or growing tables, records running down rows or across columns, and checks ranging from field types and bounds to rules across sheets or a whole workbook. Its example SKU hook calls a catalogue service asynchronously and returns a warning for discontinued stock; the page says requests abandoned after further typing are cancelled. It also describes before-save checks and byte-for-byte saves when no edits are made.
