TalkAm, an anonymous local-discussion app for Ghana
TalkAm presents a Ghana-wide discussion app organized around nearby communities and topics including housing, campus life, jobs, transport, food, and events.
- For
- People in Ghana seeking local anonymous discussions
- Worth noticing
- Three reports send a post to Community Review; eligible voters need an account at least three months old and nonnegative karma.
Field notes
The interface groups local conversation into topic channels and offers sorting by new, commented, voted, and buzzing. Its moderation description sets specific thresholds: three reports trigger community review, while voting eligibility requires a three-month-old account and karma of at least zero. The captured screen reports an offline state, so it does not show live posts; the Premium panel lists three billing periods and describes added media and visibility features.
