- For
- French mushroom foragers planning outings
- Worth noticing
- It says it publishes forecast misses alongside successes and labels the map as a conditions index, not a guarantee of finding mushrooms.
Field notes
The map distinguishes areas rated better than usual from areas that were favourable on an earlier day but no longer are. Its species material includes warnings about dangerous lookalikes, while explicitly cautioning that the pages are not enough to identify a mushroom safely. The site says forecasts rely increasingly on less-certain weather predictions further into the seven-day window.
