- For
- Fans of pirate parody, kitten cartoons, and old-web-style homepages
- Worth noticing
- The name generator promises the same pirate name for the same input; the guestbook says entries stay on the visitor’s computer.
Field notes
The name generator accepts a landlubber name and promises a repeatable pirate-name result, with an optional robot-voice readout. The ship’s log mixes nautical terminology and etymology, including the page’s explanation of scuttlebutt and its 126-gallon wine-butt reference. A player is present for five Pirate Kittens episodes, though the extracted view shows 0 of 5 watched and buffering at 99%.
