Decktano uses a Raspberry Pi 5 to run a standalone DJ player with Pioneer DDJ-FLX4 or FLX2 controllers.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-17 issue.

For: DJs using DDJ-FLX4/FLX2 controllers and rekordbox sticks
Worth noticing: The FLX2 demo shows loop points set on the touch screen, compensating for controls absent from that controller.

Field notes

The Raspberry Pi runs Raspberry Pi OS on Debian 13, with the file manager and update dialogue switched off so the user sees the DJ interface. The page says the touch panel is optional: a tablet can take its place over VNC, and the listed build prices exclude the controller. Its beta account is candid about the evidence boundary: the device runs daily on the makers’ own equipment, but they are seeking tests with other rooms, sticks and users.
