Editorial interest 78/100 Selection signal · not a rating of the site

It offers a free unit-size check and sells a plan-based design covering room airflows, duct routing, equipment choice and acoustic reporting.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-17 issue.

For: UK self-builders planning whole-house ventilation
Worth noticing: The site says one in five of its last 80 designs needed two silencers, with their placement specified in the acoustic report.

Field notes

The size check lets users adjust the number of MVHR units, everyday and boost fan-speed limits, and whether to show Passivhaus-certified units only. Its comparison notes that lower fan speeds may mean choosing a larger unit, and the page distinguishes its estimates from a design checked against the home's actual ducts.
