The site says TokenPanda reads the four plan-usage and reset fields in Claude Code’s documented status line, rather than using an undocumented usage endpoint. That choice also limits freshness: plan figures update only while a session is running, and the interface marks stale readings. For token counts, the page says it reads local transcripts for counts, model, and time—not the text itself.
