- For
- Chess players in Tokyo and nearby cities
- Worth noticing
- It lists 11 places to play with no membership requirement and includes a section on the absence of local over-the-board Chess960 events.
Field notes
The index distinguishes rated and rapid events, junior offerings, beginner-friendly options, and venues such as board-game cafés and meetup groups. Individual entries can include practical details like opening hours, booking requirements, and lesson fees. The Chess960 section says the site checked federation calendars, club notices, chess-results.com, and FIDE event listings in both English and Japanese, and found no local over-the-board event.
