- For
- Multilingual churches and Sunday-service volunteers
- Worth noticing
- The presenter currently needs a laptop running Google Chrome; iPads, iPhones, and other browsers are not supported yet.
Field notes
The proposed setup assigns presentation to a volunteer, who starts translation from a Chrome laptop connected to the pastor’s microphone. Congregants are meant to reach a church-specific page through an NFC tag, QR code, or short printed link, then choose text, phone-spoken audio, or both. The page says the pilot will be small and personally selected, and notes that phone voices and locked screens may limit the listening experience.
