Warden is an early-access desktop app that escalates ignored tasks and can lock your computer to the task until its connected Grokbot checks it off.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-17 issue.

For: Founders managing assigned follow-up tasks
Worth noticing: The page says local timers and a three-hour cap run on the user's machine; connector setup is still being built.

Field notes

The proposed system separates enforcement from task judgment: Warden handles the desktop prompt and lockdown, while the connected Grokbot sets the schedule, chooses permitted apps, and checks evidence. Linear is the core task system, with Airtable, Gmail, a CRM, and YC MCP named as possible connections. The page says connector setup is still being built, and describes the hosted team layer as optional.
