- For
- People walking home, dating, or showing houses
- Worth noticing
- The check-in route is deleted after seven days when someone checks in; after a missed check-in, Belayr says it is kept longer.
Field notes
The timer is described as server-hosted, so its countdown continues if the phone dies or loses signal; the page cautions that this does not guarantee a message arrives in time. Contacts must confirm before a user can arm a timer. The site says a completed check-in route is deleted after seven days, while a route linked to a missed check-in is retained longer because it may help searchers.
