I KARMA, YOU KARMA: supernatural crime in Maryland
A fiction project pairing supernatural conflict with crime stories set in Silver Spring and Baltimore, with scripts, character profiles, world notes, and in-world case files.
- For
- Readers of supernatural crime fiction and screenplays
- Worth noticing
- The fictional ARKEN terminal lists incident files alongside a vampire kingdom’s tax ledger and restricted personnel records.
Field notes
The fictional organization ARKEN is described as using occult knowledge to decide what gets contained or ended, while Țara Noastră is framed as a vampire kingdom with leverage over American crime families. The contact form names specific collaboration roles and also welcomes readers, making the project’s outreach broader than an industry-only pitch. Its footer credits creator Shawn Nicholas Crump and states that the work is registered with two writers’ organizations.
