Quint puts live snippets on the Mac desktop

Field notes

Users can start from about 106 one-click snippets organized in plain-English categories; some expose forms for choices such as a date, city, or checklist, and the code can be inspected first. Quintlets can run shell commands on timers or live, read files with regular-expression filtering, display images or web pages, and query other apps through AppleScript permissions. Layout tools include snapping, multi-selection, undo, scenes, groups, and shared .quintlet files.
