A browser-based tool uses phone video and a ruler-based setup to measure skate-blade profiles, compare scans, and export readings.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-18 issue.
For
Skaters and skate technicians checking blade profiles
Worth noticing
It can use a 0° setup for rocker alone or a 45° setup for rocker plus bend, and offers CSV export.

Field notes

The scan setup uses a ruler edge as its reference: the app looks for the white slit between ruler and blade, then uses the ruler-side edge for measurement. Camera settings include frame-rate choices and a recommendation for a 2–4 ms exposure with good light. If the ruler’s printed numbers cannot be read, users can position a guide over a number and enter it manually; blade-end marks can also be adjusted.
