Constela puts the satellite internet sky on a globe

constela.earth Visit website
Editorial interest 84/100 Selection signal · not a rating of the site

A free interactive globe maps internet-satellite constellations, local visibility and passes, with an optional view of modeled packet routes.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-19 issue.
For
People tracking satellite constellations and sky passes
Worth noticing
Its packet routes are explicitly generic models, not measurements of how operators route traffic.

Field notes

The page says orbital positions, passes, coverage and routes are computed on the device with SGP4, using public CelesTrak orbit data and launch records from The Space Devs, refreshed several times daily. Its routing view compares laser-link paths with ground-relay paths and fibre, but explicitly labels the route as generic: operators’ actual routing is not public, and the displayed latency is an estimate rather than a measurement.
