Receipts: school-board promises with due dates
An independent project tracks Huntington Beach City School District decisions from board vote to reported outcome, using the district’s own goals and public records.
- For
- Huntington Beach school-district residents and board watchers
- Worth noticing
- Its labels distinguish goals that are not yet due from results that public reports do not yet make checkable.
Field notes
The homepage’s scoreboard separates decisions with results checked from those that lack enough public detail, are still in review, or have not reached their review date. One example preserves the district’s quoted loan-balance target, while the savings figure is explicitly described as an estimate from two decisions, not a verified total. The project says its counts are calculated from records rather than entered by hand.
