Field notes
The site says solar elevation and direction determine an eight-part daily cycle, with each phase assigned its own musical style, tempo, key, and color. Its schedule also varies by weekday: New York's Friday and Saturday nights turn to techno, while weeknight small hours are described as beatless. The page names NOAA solar equations and Open-Meteo as inputs, and says the program runs on one small server.
