- For
- Taxi passengers planning trips around Placencia, Belize
- Worth noticing
- Longer passenger trips use BZ$10 plus BZ$4 per road mile, rounded up to a multiple of BZ$5; pickup travel is separate.
Field notes
The calculator separates the passenger's road distance from the taxi's empty trip to the pickup, and shows the latter as a distinct amount. Visitors can enter places or pin road entrances on a map; the page also supplies sample airport and village routes. It cautions that mileage examples are illustrative until checked and that Google Maps lookup can be unavailable when its daily limit is reached.
