- For
- CNC job shops quoting high-mix, low-volume parts
- Worth noticing
- The sample flags a tight bore tolerance on an anodized part and prices an unspecified anodize finish as Type II Class 2.
Field notes
The public example is a 6061-T6 aluminum sensor-mount bracket, with quantity breaks at 25, 100, and 250 and an operation table running from bandsaw stock preparation through VMC work, CMM checks, outside anodizing, and final inspection. At quantity 100, it lists $5,805.14 total cost and a $75.50 unit price, with markup shown separately. The FAQ says packages above 20 line items receive a schedule agreed in advance; its calibration and monthly accuracy-tracking details are company-stated claims.
