Editorial interest 81/100 Selection signal · not a rating of the site

Skatlas catalogs ska and rocksteady groups around the world, with country listings, a map, band profiles, and concert events.

Landing page captured for the 2026-10-20 issue.

For: Ska and rocksteady listeners, bands, and promoters
Worth noticing: Missing bands can be proposed by members and are reviewed by a moderator before appearing.

Field notes

The contribution form asks for a band's name, city, members, and music links; the site says a moderator reviews each proposal before it goes live. The homepage also reports 2,900 musicians and 5,378 albums, and shows recent additions including groups from Finland, the UK, and Japan. Its stated exclusion of AI-made ska is explicitly temporary.
