Serinette’s lullaby-from-baby-sounds app
Serinette describes an iPhone app that listens to a baby’s vocal patterns and turns them into an evolving lullaby, with a bedtime mode and saved song versions.
- For
- Parents and caregivers of babies seeking a lullaby that changes with their child’s voice
- Worth noticing
- The page presents a six-second first melody and a later one-minute version, described as made from real baby recordings.
Field notes
The page describes a progression from a bird echoing sounds to building a melody from the note and vocal shape the baby returns to most. A six-second first melody and a later one-minute version are presented as examples made from real baby recordings; the site says families can keep versions and play a monthly “first year” sequence in about two minutes. The iPhone app is labeled “Coming soon,” and subscription is mentioned for sheet-music and MIDI exports.
