Field notes
The page includes a sample feed where visitors can change a setting and compare what appears with and without filtering. Topic controls range from elections and conflict to hostile comments, and users can add their own words. The site says the extension checks text as feeds load; it also notes that images are not evaluated and that filtering can sometimes catch harmless material.
