The sample page layers the Japanese era and month, Gregorian date, lunar date, moon phase, seasonal markers, and calendar fortune around one daily typeface. The site describes eight typeface classes and says a class does not repeat on consecutive days. It also specifies three paper textures and assigns different ink colors to weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays.
