Bijirin tracks Malaysian ingredient prices
A Malaysia-focused interface for browsing ingredient prices, price drivers, what-if scenarios, and an AI-assisted question box.
- For
- People comparing food-ingredient prices across Malaysian states
- Worth noticing
- Bijirin says its AI only writes the words; the numbers come from Bijirin’s data.
Field notes
The interface is organized into Ingredients, Check, What if, Drivers, and Ask sections. Price controls include list/grid views, rising/falling sorting, a price-controlled filter, and intervals from one week through all-time; the assistant prompt accepts English, Bahasa Malaysia, or Chinese. Bijirin says the figures come from its data and that AI only writes the explanatory text. At capture, however, the ingredient panel still displayed “Loading prices…,” so actual figures and their freshness could not be inspected.
