The Light Architect: switchable lighting presentations
A browser-based tool turns room renders into shareable lighting presentations where clients can toggle lights and inspect the selected fittings.
- For
- Lighting designers presenting schemes to clients
- Worth noticing
- Each room needs aligned renders from one camera: one with all lights off, then one image per light.
Field notes
A project starts with a name and cover, and can include lighting-principle slides and an optional logo. Switches are placed on the room view and assigned to the lights they control; lamp entries can record a name, location, and product photo. Projects stay in the current browser until shared, with export offered for keeping a copy or opening the project elsewhere. The page gives a subdomain-style address as an example of a project-specific link.
